Keep the Flowers

I went to Target the other day. I grabbed a bouquet on the way in, but one of the flowers had already wilted. So I put it back before I checked out.

You might read that and think,

“Okay, and?”

Or maybe,

“Why put the bouquet back if only one flower had wilted?”

But I know my audience. You’re probably wondering,

“Who the hell were the flowers for?”
