In the Pocket
It’s been a while since I’ve been home.
I haven’t forgotten how to blog yet. I just haven’t made the time. Too much else to do, and think about. So much to say, but nothing to share.
Too much death as well; we lost some close friends in the last few months, along with artists, and other figures whose work meant a lot to us, even if we did not know them personally.
I might’ve made some NBA playoffs and World Cup posts too, as I have in past years if I found the time.
I’ve been on the road quite a bit as well. Maui, Cabo, NY, Dallas, Chicago, Boston and Philly this week for the World Cup, and DMV where I’ll spend some time at my parent’s house in Maryland.
The last time I was in the DMV was Thanksgiving weekend. It hasn’t seemed that long ago though. The years are going by quickly.
I wanted to write about all of this, at least some of it. There’s some great stories in there. But there was just so much, and every day it seemed there was more. Not to mention, I’m still looking for beta readers for the book. One day, it would be great to have a cult of loyalists who take care of my blogs for me when I cannot.
I’m back at home in Minneapolis for a day, and then off to the east coast for the week. I do want to keep momentum going some, so I’ll do a series of short mini-posts here, to share some ideas. We’ll see how that goes. I expect the posts to be all over the place.
It has been an exciting half year. Interesting times ahead.
I wish you good fortune in the wars to come.
